The 2732 from Dot Hill Systems serves the Fibre Channel SAN market allowing customers to easily create their own high-speed storage area networks. The powerful 2732 storage systems are scalable, highly reliable, and high performing – plus they are easy to set up and manage. With its high performance and high capacity, Dot Hill 2732 storage systems are used for virtualized storage, file systems, Share Point, MS Exchange, MS SQL, just to name a few applications.
The 2732 features a12-drive array housed in a 2 rackunit (2U) enclosure providing dual 4Gb Fibre Channel interfaces per controller to 3.5-inch SAS, SATA, or solid state drives. An internal SAS interface supports the expansion of the systems to support growing storage needs. Up to seven JBOD expansion units can be easily added.
With its powerful controller, the 2732 outperforms other systems for IO intensive operations such as transaction processing, business analysis, reporting. With up to 256 snapshots capability, it is offers more data protection for business critical applications such as email.
