EMC have formally announced the release of the VNX2 range of mid range SANs.
Another blog post will follow with deeper details of the EMC Announcement other than to say a Limited Release of the VNX2 will come with a Carbon Fibre Bezel design by Lotus F1 racing.
At the Formula 1 inspired launch, held at Monza Italy (near Milan) , Lotus’s CEO revealed the design.
I’m sure there are only 100-200 of these units available and they will be available on a first come basis.
Also – for Q3 (ending September 26th) – EMC will be offering the new VNX5400 (part of the VNX2 family) at the same price as the VNX5200 (the entry level into the new VNX2 family)
